How to get started with your new deck
When it comes to building your new deck there are so many options. This is great as it means you are able to design your deck just the way you want. However, it does mean you have lots of decisions!.
Here are just a few of things you need to think about:
1. COMPOSITE AND TIMBER DECK?
Both composite and timber decking provide benefits. For example, if you want to be environmentally friendly then composite decking using recycled plastic may be the way to go. Once you have made the decision to go with either composite decking or traditional timber decking there are still lots of options.
For example, timber decks come in a range of different timbers. The most popular is merbau. This timber has a lovely orange-brown colour, which develops a deeper red colour as it ages. In addition, other popular timbers include jarrah and spotted gum.
2. IS SHADE REQUIRED?
